Be Intentional – Nurturing

The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the GOD of peace will be with you. Philippians 4:9 (NKJV)

Anointing can be nurtured or neglected. Have you maximized your talents, passions and gifts? The difference between success and failure, maximizing your potential or under-achieving, being fulfilled or frustrated, is the ingredient called “nurturing”.

Nurturing includes these important elements. Firstly, discover your passions and gifts. Is it sports, dance, science, math, business, politics, pastoral ministry or administration?

Secondly, focus on these strengths and develop them through study, seminars, Sunday school, lectures or school. Thirdly, practice; the 10,000 repetition rule works. If you repeat something 10,000 times, you will master it. Fourthly, bathe your life in prayer in order to be saturated in the anointing. Finally, serve others. If you apply your life to serving others, GOD will pour more oil on you.

Your gifts and anointing must be protected, practiced and positioned so you can maximize your potential and purposes for Christ. The Apostle Paul understood this well: “Do not neglect your gift, which was given you through prophecy when the body of elders laid their hands on you. Be diligent in these matters; give yourself wholly to them, so that everyone may see your progress.” 1Timothy 4:14-15 (NIV)

I declare that the Word of GOD is my Launchpad into the world of graceful results and favoured outcomes. I diligently attend to GOD’s word and I daily incline my ears to His sayings in Jesus name.
