Gaining New Grounds

Hello! Welcome to #HCCRecap, it was an awesome time in His presence yesterday at HarvestHouse Christian Center. Below is a summary of the message:

GAINING NEW GROUNDS BY REV. GBEMINIYI EBODA

The month of March has been declared to us by the Lord as the month of gaining new grounds, and He will confirm His word in our experiences this month. This message is an introduction to the subsequent teachings we are going to be having this month.

This is the verdict of the Lord concerning this month: You (yes, you) are experiencing gain this month, not loss. You are going to be gaining strength on every front (Psalm 84:7; Isaiah 40:29; Philippians 4:13). You also have a victory edge in all circumstances, and over all situations.

How? “Everything on your inside is far greater than what is on the outside”. (1 Corinthians 15:47; 1John 5:4; 1John 4:4). You are going to gain new grounds by favour; favour is the heritage of the new creation and it is evident in the life of the Pattern-Son (Luke 2:45). Favour will make up for what you lack in merit (Psalm 44:3).

You need to understand these three things if you are going to walk in the fullness of God’s intention for you this month:

1. You need to know what is available in God’s inheritance for you. (Luke 19:42; John 5:39; Romans 8:32; Proverbs 4:22). Why is this necessary? It is because if you can find it in the Word, you’ll find it in your world.

2. You must not forget. When you forget where you are going, any destination becomes acceptable; and when you forget who you are, every lie becomes believable. You must not forget the things the Lord has spoken concerning us this year. Don’t forget that it is the year of the new (Revelations 21:5; Psalm 138;2; Isaiah 43:18-19; Isaiah 42:9 and Isaiah 54:2), you mustn’t forget that it is also the year of the good (Psalm 84:11; Psalm 85:12-13) and also the year of the better (Isaiah 60:17). Don’t forget that the year is a year of rest (Isaiah 64:3); it is a year of responsibility – “All things are possible to those who are responsible” (Psalm 37:25; Ephesians 4:28; Proverbs 22:27; Deuteronomy 8:7-9); and it is also a year of reward (Psalm 58:11; Proverbs 14:34).

The year 2017 has been pronounced as the year of the blessing and the effects of the blessings are:

a) It prospers. (Genesis 26:12-13)

b) The blessing makes. (Proverbs 10:22)

c) It confers capacity on you.

d) The blessing neutralises the effect of any and every curse (Numbers 23:8; Deuteronomy 23:5)

e) It multiplies. (Genesis 1:28; Isaiah 65:13).

3. Take God at His Word. (Acts 27:25; Luke 1:45).
